(ANTRIM TOWNSHIP) – The Antrim Township Board of Supervisors will receive Letters of Interest from Antrim Township residents for appointment to positions on the Antrim Township Municipal Authority (1); the Antrim Township Park Committee (1); and the Zoning Hearing Board (1).
Antrim Township Municipal Authority term is 5 years and the current appointee will finish the current term of 2 years ending 1/1/2026. The Antrim Township Municipal Authority is a five-member Authority which meets once a month, the last Monday of the month, with a work session slated for the second Monday of the month and oversees items which include public sewer and water, operations of the water and sewer treatment plants, etc.
Antrim Township Park Committee term is a 4 year term and the current appointee will finish the current term of 2 years ending 1/1/2026. The Antrim Township Park Committee is a nine-member Committee which meets the third Wednesday of every month and advises/recommends items of interest to the Board of Supervisors concerning the Township’s park and recreation programs.
Zoning Hearing Board term is 5 years ending 1/1/2029. The Zoning/Hearing Board is a five-member Board which meets the second Thursday of the month on an as-needed basis to address variances, conditional uses, zoning uses and appeals.
Letters of Interest stating your desire and reason to be appointed to any of the above must be received by 4:00 p.m. February 6, 2024 for consideration. Appointments will be made at the Antrim Township Board of Supervisors Regular Meeting Tuesday, February 13th 2024.
