Code of Ordinances

Please Take Note: The Zoning Chapter and the Subdivision/Land Development Chapter of the Code of the Township of Antrim were repealed on November 25, 2014 and replaced by new chapters adopted under Ordinance number 338 as listed below. For zoning and subdivision/land development regulations see Ordinance 338 and any subsequent amendments to Chapters 125 and 150.

Ordinances

  • Ordinance 363 - Amends Chapter 126 entitled "Stormwater Management" by repealing the chapter in its entirety and replacing it with a new Chapter 126 entitled "Stormwater Management". 
  • Ordinance 362 - Amends the Zoning Map by changing the district boundaries of multiple tax parcels comprised of approximately 69 acres located at the corner of Greenmount Road and Hykes Road. See the Zoning change exhibit below:
  • Ordinance 361 - Amends the Zoning Map by changing the district boundaries of multiple tax parcels comprised of approximately 133 acres located at the corner of Greenmount Road and Mason Dixon Road. See the Zoning change exhibit below:
  • Ordinance 360 - Amends Chapter 111 entitled "Pretreatment" and Chapter 110 entitled "Fireworks" of the Code of the Township of Antrim.  Chapter 111-8 entitled "Local Limits" was amended by deleting Schedule A under subsection B in its entirety and replacing it with a new Schedule A.  Chapter 100 was repealed in its entirety. 
  • Ordinance 359 - Amends the Zoning Map by changing the district boundaries of multiple tax parcels located on Grant Shook Road and Shanks Church Road. See the Zoning change exhibit below:
  • Ordinance 358 - Authorizing the incurrence by the Township of Antrim of non-electoral debt by the issuance of general obligation bonds to finance capital improvements to the Antrim Township Municipal Authority (ATMA) sewer system.
  • Ordinance 357 - Amends Chapter 139 entitled "Vehicles and Traffic". Chapter 139-29 entitled "Parking prohibited at all times in certain locations" was amended by the addition of establishing no parking zones at the Antrim Township Park. Chapter 139-38 entitled "Tow-Away Zones Designated" was amended by the addition of establishing tow-away zones at the Antrim Township Park. 
  • Ordinance 356 - Amends Chapter 24 regarding benefits under the Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement System.  
  • Ordinance 355 - Amends multiple sections of Chapter 125 entitled "Subdivision and Land Development" and multiple sections of Chapter 150 entitled "Zoning". Amendments to Chapter 125 are Section 9 entitled "Definitions", Section 14 entitled "Plan Requirements", Section 15 entitled "Conservation Practices", Section 17 entitled "Parking Landscape Requirements", and Section 17(E)(3) entitled "Shared Use Trails". Amendments to Chapter 150 are Section 26(B) entitled "The following uses shall be permitted in the Highway Commercial District with greater minimum area regulations", Section 30(A) entitled "The following uses shall be permitted in the Industrial District", Section 30(B) entitled "The following uses shall be permitted in the Industrial District with greater minimum area regulations", Section 59 entitled "Private outdoor swimming pools", Section 63 entitled "Homeowners associations", and Section 64(D) entitled "Exempt signs".
  • Ordinance 354 - Amends Chapter 111 entitled "Pretreatment". Chapter 111-8 entitled "Local Limits" is amended by deleting Schedule A under subsection B in it's entirety and replacing it with a new Schedule A. See the new Schedule below:
  • Ordinance 353 - Amends the Zoning Map by changing the district boundaries of a tax parcel located on Buchanan Trail West. Changed the Official Map. See the Official Map exhibit below:
  • Ordinance 352 - Amends the Zoning Map by changing the district boundaries on multiple tax parcels within Antrim Township. Please see maps below:
  • Ordinance 351 - Chapter 59 entitled "Open Burning" was replaced in its entirety with a new chapter that shall be known as "Antrim Township Open Burning Ordinance". Article I of Chapter 118 entitled "Solid Waste and Recycling" was replaced in its entirety with a new Article I entitled "Solid Waste and Recycling". 
  • Ordinance 349 - Amends the Code of the Township of Antrim's Chapter 111 entitled "Pretreatment". 
  • Ordinance 348 - Amends the existing Antrim Township Zoning Map by changing district boundaries for portions of two (2) tax parcels from Highway Commercial (HC) to Industrial (I). Please see the map below:
  • Ordinance 346 - Amends Chapter 110, section 2 entitled "Connection to public sewers required; private sewage disposal systems".
  • Ordinance 345 - Amends the Antrim Township Zoning Map and amends Chapter 150, section 4 entitled "Definitions", section 58 entitled "Yard and Lot regulations" and section 62 entitled "Customary home occupations and No-impact Home-based business".
  • Ordinance 341 - Amends Chapter 111 of the Code of the Township of Antrim entitled "Pretreatment"
  • Ordinance 340 - Establishes parking prohibitions and designates tow away zones on Township Road #414 (Antrim Commons Drive).
  • Ordinance 338 - An Ordinance repealing Chapter 56 entitled "Buildings, Numbering Of" and Chapter 122 entitled "Streets and Sidewalks"; Creating a new Chapter 124 Entitled "Official Map" and repealing the existing Chapter 125 entitled "Subdivision and Land Development" and Chapter 150 entitled "Zoning" and replacing them with a new Chapter 125 entitled "Subdivision and Land Development" and a new Chapter 150 entitled "Zoning". Adoption of this ordinance effectuated adoption of a new Zoning Map and a new Official Map which may be viewed at the links below:
  • Ordinance 337 - Establishes speed limits for Township Road # 351 (Hykes Road)
  • Ordinance 335 - Establishes a speed limit for Township Road #347 (Filer Road).
  • Ordinance 334 - Establishes fees to be added to unpaid claims for the collection by a private company of unpaid sewer claims.
  • Ordinance 331 - Establishes sewer system disconnection procedures for failure to pay sewer bill in Chapter 110.
  • Ordinance 330 - Adds regulations for use of the Dog Park to Chapter 92, Parks.
  • Ordinance 327 - Adds a maximum allowed gross weight limit to Rabbit Road North.
  • Ordinance 319 - Adds Chapter 60 Roads and Bridges
  • Ordinance 318 - Amends Chapter 24 regarding benefits under the Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement System.
  • Ordinance 317 - Amends the Antrim Township Uniform Construction Code Chapter, The Sewers Chapter, the Streets and Sidewalks Chapter, the Subdivision and Land Development Chapter, and the Zoning Chapter of the Code of the Township of Antrim.
  • Ordinance 311 - Adds Chapter 111 to the Antrim Township Code of Ordinances. This new chapter sets forth uniform requirements for waste water pretreatment. You may also view the Enforcement Response Plan here.
  • Ordinance 310 - Amends Chapter 126-5(1) pertaining to stormwater exemptions and Chapter 126-16 pertaining to stormwater management during construction.
    ** Please note per Resolution #81; only sections 1 and 3 were adopted under Ordinance 310, sections 2 and 4 were not adopted.
